Si Karlo at ang teknolohiya

  Nang hapong yaon...

   Katatapos lamang mananghalian ni Karlo, at agad siyang pumunta sa lugar sa bukid nila na tila siya lang ang naroroon. Umupo siya at sumandal sa puno ng mangga. Tila malalim ang kanyang iniisip. Nakataas ang kanyang ulo at pinagmamasdan ang mga ibon na malayang lumilipad sa alapaap. Huminga siya ng malalim at bahaguyang pumikit. 

"Sana dito na lang ako sa bukid kasama si Tatang Nardo." pabulong na wika nito. 

 Bakas sa mukha ni Karlo ang kalungkutan.

 Isang malakas na sigaw ang pumukaw sa kanyang atensyon.

"Karlo!" tila nag-aatubiling tawag sa kanya na kanyang Tatang Nardo.

"Nandiyan na po."

Dali-daling tumakbo si Karlo papunta s kanyang lolo upang malaman kung siya nito pinatatawag.

"May tawag para sayo, mula sa iyong ina."

"Hello?"

"Baby, kamusta ka na?  ayos ka lang ba diyan? Gusto mo na bang bumalik dito sa Maynila? Namimiss ka na namin ni Daddy mo!" isang malambing na tinig mula sa kanyang ina sa kabilang linya. 

"Ayos lang ho."walana kagana-ganang sagot ni Karlo sa ina.

"Sige ho, paalam."

 Pagkababa ni Karlo ng telepono,bumalik agad siya sa kinaroroonan niya kanina.

 Si Karlo ay isang 2nd year H.S student, labing-apat na taong gulang na siya., pero nagtataka siya kung bakit "baby" pa rin ang tawag sa kanya. Isa siyang teen-ager na humahanap ng atensyon mula sa kanyang mga magulang.

 Nang siya ay nakaupo na at nakasandal , bibla na naman niyang naisip ang iniisip kanina.

 "Mabuti pa ang mahihirap na bata kahit wala silang mga gadgets na mayroon ako, mayroon naman silang mga magulang na nagmamahal sa kanila. Aanhin ko ang mga gadgets na ito kung ang mga magulang ko naman ay walang oras sa akin.Mas gusto ko pa dito sa bukid, tahimik at may taong nagmamahal sa akin. Kaysa sa Maynila na kung hindi nag-aaway sili Mommy at Daddyay lagi naman silang nasa trabaho. Kung kaya't ang kompyuter, cellphone at iba pang mga gadgeys ana kasa-kasama ko sa bahay" malungkot na isinasaisip ni Karlo.

 Hindi na namalayan ni Karlo na madilim na . Nang siya ay naglalakad pauwi, biglang may tumawag sa kanya...

 "Karlo,Karlo!" isang maliit na boses galing sa likod ng Akasya.

 Dahan-dahanglumapit si Karlo upang malaman kung sino o ano ang nagsasalita . Paglapit niya, nakita niya ang kanyang cellphone.

 "Papaanong napunta ang cellphone ko dito?" nagtatakana tanong ni Karlo sa sarili.

 "Karlo! ako ito."

 Bahagya niyang nabitawan ang kanyang cellphone.

 "ARRAYY!!"

 Tatakbo na sana siya nang bigla ulit itong nagsalita.

 "Hanggat hindi mo ako kinakausap, hindi ako titigil!"

"Ano bang kailangan mo?"

 "Simula gr. 4 ako na ang kasama mo!, Kaya alam ko ana mga saloobin mo!"

 Nawala ang takot ni Karlo sa narinig...

 "Alam kong uhaw ka sa atensyon ng mga magulang mo! Pero tandaan mo lahat ng ginagawa nila ay pare sa iyo! Huwag ka sanang magtanim ng galit sa kanila! Tandaan mo iyan. Alam kong mahal ka nila at mahal mo rin sila! 

 Tumatak kay Karlo ang mga salitang iyon.

   Nang siya ay matutulog na, iniisip pa rin niya ang mna sinabi sa kanya na cellphone niya.

   Ika-pito na ng umaga nnang magising si Karlo.

  Narinig niya ang masasayang tawanan sa kamilang salas .

  Hindi siya maaaring magkamali, iyon ang boses ng kanyang  mga magulang. Walang paliguy-ligoy pa, agad siyang lumapit sa kanyang mga magulang at yumakap.

 "Sorry poi Mommy and Daddy! Alam ko pong nagkamali ako. Sana po ay patawarin ninyo ako." wika ni Karlo.

  "Pinatawad ka na namin anak." sabi ng kanyang ina.

  "Mahal na mahal ka namin Karlo!" wika ng kanyang ama.

  "Mommy, Daddy kung pupuwede po sana ay huwag ninyo na akong tatawagin na "baby" kasi po malaki ma ako."

  "Walang problema anak basta ikaw! " sabi ng ama niya.

  "Basta ikaw Karlo !...MY BABY!!" sabi ng kanyang ina.

  "Mommy!?"

   At sabay-sabay nagtawanan ang apat : si Karlo ana mga magulang niya at ang kanyang lolo.. si Tatang Nardo!

   Natutunan:

                   HUWAG MAGTATANIM NA GALIT SA MGA MAGULANG!   

I'm officialy a TEEN !

 Just the way they are ! These are the words that comes from my mind everytime I watch ABS-CBN SHOUTOUT. Because they showcase the real them. I can't deny that I love watching this variety show. It makes me feel better to be a teen. Watching my  favorite teen artist like Erich , Enchong , Robi , Sam and Tricia makes me improve my personality not only on my physical aspects but also on my emotional aspects. When I see them wearing a formal attires it makes me imagine how I look when I try to wear  those kinds of apparel. Watching their performances , inspire me to show also my talents and the real me.
    They star their show by giving a warm greeting and an energetic  opening number of the selected teen artists. Then the show goes by having fun games and a nice jamming. Watching their fun activities and games makes me laugh and I realize that Shoutout is really for teens like me , it really impressed me. One of my favorite portion here is "I DARE" they usually called this as "TAGISAN NG GALING , TALINO AT KAKULITAN!" , this is where they had fun challenges

     When I'm watching this , there are a lots of things that retain on my mind. Especially  enchanting punch lines , and solutions on different friend problems and love problems.

     So here they are to shake up our afternoon televesion block . So get ready because this is the "OFFICIAL HANG-OUT ng KABATAANG PINOY-SHOUTOUT!

Be a Netizen .. Be Responsible

     We all know that almost 85% of our worldwide population know how to use the Internet. But the worst thing is , almost half of the Internet users do not know how to use it properly. Others even abuse it by chatting bad words , posting nude pictures , etc. We as educated people , we should learn how to use the proper netiquette  in using Internet."Pag-aralan muna ang mga bibitawang salita!"

     I , as a simple high school student I know how to use properly the Internet. As long as we have SELF-DISCIPLINE we will be far from riots. Sorry for the term that I will use but for me some people making bad humors that cause big problems in Internet is just "PAPANSIN" in Filipino term. For the meantime , let me ask you a question ; Can you make trouble in Internet that will affect your image ? What do you think ?

     Being responsible not only in our real life but also in Internet ca lead you to success. And we should always think that in every words that we said , we are the one who is responsible for it. Success is not just attainment of something , it's the outcome of your hardwork !


     And for me , the only way that truly become successful at anything requires a lot of hard work , motivation , persistence , luck and last but not the least is being RESPONSIBLE.

Mariposa : Where You From ?

Mariposa is the Spanish word of "Butterfly". I chose mariposa as my blogs name because I love them. Brilliant colors of Butterfly catches my attention when I see them.

    Let me give you some information about mariposa ("Butterfly"). Butterflies are the most beautiful insects , their wings are covered with minute scales. If you handle a Butterfly , a certain amount of "dust" comes off the wings. The dust is one of these thousand scales. In addition , butterfly are classify in the order Lepidoptera. And as  I've read an article , I found out that colorful wings of mariposa defend them from predators.Mariposa live on warm places. Most of the adults can't survive when winter comes.

  My father told me that due to their bright colors of wings , they can pull one's attention. And as I know about myself , I'm easily attract by colorful objects. Mariposa can fly freely and they can go where they want. I compare myself to a butterfly. I'm free to go where I want "as long as it's for my own sake" and will no t be bad for me.

    So i hope like butterflies we will be free to give our opinions , to go where we want as long as it's good for us.

 I'm free , I can fly , I'm a Butterfly !
